Rancho Dominguez, CA – Anthony J. Cigliano, Chairman of the Board of Santa Monica Seafood has announced the appointment of Roger O’Brien as the Company’s new President and CEO. Anthony J. Cigliano will relinquish his position as President but remain as Chairman of the Board. O’Brien has served as the Company’s CEO since January 2015 and was its Executive Board Advisor since 2005.
O’Brien will continue to focus on the growth, expansion and business strategy of the Company as CEO while taking on additional operational oversight of all sales, operations and administrative departments in his dual role as President. Anthony Cigliano will focus his efforts on the Company’s growth and expansion plans, as well as playing a critical advisory role to the Company’s operations departments.
This restructuring acknowledges the Company’s completion of its eight-month organizational and operational improvement program and will allow O’Brien and Cigliano to jointly focus on sustainability of the results achieved, continuous process improvements, and corporate growth and expansion.
