Some people working in the shellfish industry on Prince Edward Island — or hoping to do so — got a chance to get some special training.
The PEI Shellfish Association held an essential skills training program for 20 people in the western part of the province.
The four-week program, which received government funding, focused on quality management practices and food safety.
