NFI’s Dish on Fish blog was recently ranked #1 on Feedspot’s list of “Top 100 Seafood Blogs & Websites for Seafood Lovers.” The regularly updated list indexes thousands of seafood blogs and websites, featuring only the top 100 digital destinations following an evaluation of each site’s search and social metrics.
With nearly 130K Facebook likes and an estimated 10,000 website visits each month, Dish on Fish is working hard to encourage Americans to eat seafood at least twice a week, as recommended by the US Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Written from the perspective of Rima Kleiner, a well-respected Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist, the Dish on Fish blog offers inspiration, education, tips and how-tos to consumers. It is designed to deliver messages related to seafood prep, health benefits and food safety with a fun vibe. The blog attracts visitors from across the US, representing a variety of cooking skill levels, seafood preferences, ages and demographic backgrounds.
“NFI believes that this third-party endorsement from Feedspot is a good indicator that Dish on Fish messages are resonating,” said Judy Dashiell, Senior Vice President with the National Fisheries Institute. “Dish on Fish’s recognition as the number one seafood blog/website less than two years from its inception is a testament to NFI Members, because they have made seafood education a priority.”
