Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board (LSPMB) in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education today announced the search for a new logo and brand for the Louisiana Seafood program.
The student design competition encourages all high school-aged students across the state to use their creativity, innovation and love for Louisiana’s seafood to design and submit a new logo for the program, incorporating the healthy and delicious crab, crawfish, fish, shrimp, oysters and alligator that comes from the state’s waters. In 1984, the State of Louisiana created the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board to support Louisiana’s world-class commercial fisheries industry and respond to changes in the marketplace and in the environment. The Board is composed of members appointed by the lieutenant governor representing all of the different sectors of the industry.
