Talk with Frank Randol about the Louisiana seafood community and a theme quickly emerges: Finding common ground to achieve a greater good – especially for future generations.
Randol brings this thinking to his role as one of 13 newly appointed members of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board. “I understand how important it is to find common ground so everybody feels included.”
A seafood veteran, Randol represents the crawfish industry on the board. He will serve the first half of a three-year term, which is split between processors and fishermen.
And while his term is short, Randol’s perspective is long range: “We have to have a keen eye on where we’re going. We have to look at the next generation. We need to look to the future.”
