Despite its processing and storage facility being destroyed by fire, Capital Seafoods in Eastern Passage is determined to keep helping lobster fishermen this season.
The massive blaze that raged through the fish plant on Government Wharf on the night of Nov. 16 has been deemed accidental by Halifax Fire. Investigators determined the electrical fire started in an office.
Jack Liu, owner of Capital Seafoods, says his company will rebuild the burned portion, but in the meantime they plan to do what they can to accommodate lobster fishermen who are ready to set their traps on Monday.
