Shoppers at Tops Friendly Markets may notice a couple of different things soon on store shelves.
Roughly 1,200 private label products — common items as Tops' marinara pasta sauce, peanut butter and purified bottled water — have been reformulated with what the Erie County-based grocer is calling "cleaner" and "simpler" ingredients.
Those items have also received new packaging to, in part, to more prominently display the Tops name. The new designs are scheduled to hit store shelves on Sunday.
