Snapfinger.com wants to make ordering takeout a snap.
The Atlanta-based company, which recently raised $7 million, hopes to take a bite of the $50 billion casual-dining takeout market.
Dubbed as a “virtual food court,” Snapfinger allows diners to search for restaurants, view menus and order and pay online and via smartphone applications. Unlike some online ordering sites, the company does not deliver the food.
“[Snapfinger] puts restaurants in the hands of their customers,” CEO James Garrett said.
