Birmingham's grocery delivery company is expanding into Atlanta.
Shipt will deliver groceries from Publix stores in the greater Atlanta metro area, including downtown, Buckhead and most of the northern metro including Alpharetta, Marietta and Roswell.
In July, Shipt announced it was expanding into three Florida cities, doubling its market territory. In addition to Atlanta, Shipt operates in Birmingham, Dallas, Nashville, Tampa, Miami and Orlando.
Shipt is in the process of hiring 300 drivers in the Atlanta area.
