Byers, who accepted the $50,000 donation from Shamrock Foods' to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.

Shamrock Foods looks for opportunities to support organizations in the communities it serves and selected the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society based on their tremendous impacts with active duty and retired members of the United States Navy and Marine Corps, their eligible family members and survivors. Shamrock Foods has many associates who are veterans or currently serve in the military.

"On behalf of the Sailors, Marines and their families we serve, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society was honored to accept the generous donation from Shamrock Foods," said Admiral Steve Abbot, United States Navy (Ret), President and CEO of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
