Sendik's Drops Plans For Muskego Supermarket; Developer Seeks Other Grocery Store Tenants

Sendik's Food Market has dropped plans to open a grocery store in Muskego.

The 30,000-square-foot supermarket was to anchor the commercial space at Parkland Towne Center, a mixed-use development that is under construction on Janesville Road between Lannon and Parkland drives.

However, Sendik's has decided not to locate its supermarket at Parkland Towne Center due to "extenuating circumstances beyond our control," according to a statement from Nick Bandoch, the Milwaukee-based supermarket chain's communications director.
