SEALPAC DUO – innovative double format tooling for shorter changeover times
SEALPAC uses the stage at Interpack 2011 to introduce its unique double format tooling, which represents highest efficiency. With SEALPAC DUO, two different packaging formats can now be produced on one single sealing tool. This innovative solution offers the possibility to seal two different packs in different heights or shapes with just one tooling – simultaneously or one after the other – without having to exchange the sealing tool. SEALPAC DUO, unique to the packaging industry, is available on all of SEALPAC’s A series traysealers. With this system, SEALPAC minimizes changeover times and once again proves its ability to offer flexibility, efficiency and product variation in the packaging process.
SEALPAC DayByDay – daily fresh portions
The demand for modern convenience solutions, another important topic at Interpack 2011, is met by SEALPAC with its innovative DayByDay portion- packs. Such packs are made with thermoforming technology on SEALPAC’s RE-series thermoformers. The DayByDay concept offers separately packed single portions, which hang together like a chain. Each securely sealed cavity can be removed from the other with minimum force by means of a perfectly cut perforation, to allow for daily consumption of fresh products. As an option, SEALPAC’s additional revolutionary EasyPeelPoint system guarantees an effortless opening of each single portion-pack.
The practical DayByDay solution can be used for various portion sizes, hence allowing it to be applied in numerous market segments – be it wet or dry products. One can think of sliced meat and cheese products, snacks, but also pet food or pharmaceutical products. DayByDay portion-packs can be presented at retail both hanging or folded together in a carton sleeve.
