Raley’s laid off 29 people at the corporate office Monday and plans to close four stores next month, the supermarket’s spokesperson Chelsea Minor said.
Minor said these changes are a “normal course of business” as the company reassess its structure.
The positions cut by the layoffs represents less than 2 percent of the company’s non-store personnel, Minor explained in a statement.
