KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Price Chopper is the go-to grocery store for many Kansas City shoppers.
With pharmacies, organic food sections, fresh seafood and floral departments it has pretty much all the trappings of its biggest competitor, Hy-Vee.
And it's coming to Des Moines next week.
Price Chopper will replace five Dahl's locations starting Sunday, making it the third-largest grocery chain operating in the city.
