Supermarket chains across the Northeast launched a digital coupon technology offered by local tech startup, Zave Networks.
The program has been rolled out in A&P, The Food Emporium, Superfresh and Waldbaums chains throughout their stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut and Delaware, according to a Tuesday release from Zave Networks, which does business as Zavers.
The Kansas City, Kan.-based companys technology allows consumers to save online coupons so theyre automatically applied when consumers check out and use their supermarket loyalty cards. The tool immediately reports redemptions to manufacturers and advertisers, letting them measure the effectiveness of their promotions.
