The competitive Richmond-area grocery scene will get more crowded in 2015.
The super-frugal Aldi chain and Walmart, with its Neighborhood Market format, both have plans to open multiple stores in the area.
Aldi, part of a German family empire of more than 10,000 grocery stores worldwide, has at least four Richmond-area stores planned.
