WestLink Business Center, a $50 million industrial park being developed in Shawnee, has landed its first tenant.
Mile Hi Specialty Foods, a Denver-based firm that stores and distributes products for more than 1,000 chain restaurants in 16 states, will lease the first 31,000 square feet in a 170,000-square-foot speculative building in the business park.
Completed less than a month ago, the building is the first construction in WestLink Business Center, which ultimately will include about 1.1 million square feet of space near 43rd Street and Powell Drive, just east of Kansas Highway 7.
