Lidl, the European grocer that plans to open its first U.S. stores this summer, will start hiring 800 people across Virginia this week.
The chain announced Thursday that it would begin hiring store associates for locations in 12 Virginia cities, including Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
The company didn’t say how many of the 800 jobs would be in the Hampton Roads regions. Lidl said job-seekers should visit careers.lidl.com or www.facebook.com/lidluscareers/ for more information.
