Las Vegas Based Food Brand Straight From The Root Donates To Hurricane Harvey Relief

LAS VEGAS, NV — Straight from the Root food brand last Friday, September 1, 2017, delivered 10,000 units of its product to Texas to aid in Hurricane Harvey relief. The product will arrived at the Central Texas Food Bank in Austin where they will distribute the food to the coasts most damaged by the hurricane.

Paul Lagudi, creator of Straight from the Root, donated food back in 2005 to aid in Hurricane Katrina relief under his previous company Lagudi Enterprises. Paul and his daughter, Paulina cocreator of the product, knew they had to help the people of Texas dealing with this terrible tragedy, and Straight from the Root provided the perfect product.

Straight from the Root is the only sous vide vegetable retail product that provides fresh, organic vegetables already cooked to consumers with a shelf-life of over 90 days without any preservatives. The vegetables are ready to eat out of the bag or can be heated up for 90 seconds.

“When a disaster hits, no one wants to be only eating canned food. At least with Straight from the Root, we can provide some comfort for people by providing them with fresh cooked vegetables,” Paulina Lagudi.

Straight from the Root can be purchased at your local Ralph’s grocery store, Smith’s Food and Drug Stores, and Whole Foods Markets. https://www.sftroot.com/
