Kroger Co. has quietly launched a fast-delivery grocery service, testing it first in two Greater Cincinnati stores.
Kroger Rush is a service that delivers select products within as little as 30 minutes, Jessica Adelman, Cincinnati-based Kroger’s group vice president of corporate affairs, told me.
Kroger (NYSE: KR), the nation’s largest operator of traditional supermarkets, began testing the concept at its Oakley and Newport Marketplace stores within the past month.
