And as manager of the new $26 million Hy-Vee supermarket in Oakdale, he has thousands of food choices. But what if he had to pick one single item?
"The burger with the egg on top at the Market Grille," said Wellinghoff, without hesitating.
That would be the restaurant inside the sprawling 90,000-square-foot supermarket. But he could have picked plenty of other items, as shoppers are about to discover when the Iowa-based chain makes its Twin Cities debut on Tuesday with stores in Oakdale and New Hope.
