Food Processing Plant To Reopen In Minnesota

WELLS A Miami-based mover and shaker has Wells abuzz with plans to open a food-processing plant there with an anticipated eventual work force of more than 200.

Oh, wow. It will be tremendous. Not only for the city but for the whole area, Wells Economic Development Authority Vice President Kim Sorenson said of Singleteary Food Solutions, which will process meat and poultry products for food corporations.

The plant is expected to begin operations in March and initially employ a dozen or so, with a ramp-up to 200 or more workers in three to five years, owner Steve Singleteary said.
