Fareway Chief Executive Reynolds Cramer has been named 2016 Retailer of the Year by the Iowa Grocery Industry Association.
Cramer, 47, has served as chief executive since 2014 but has been with Boone-based Fareway since he was 16 years old. He is the fourth generation of the family to operate the grocery store chain.
He also served as store manager, district supervisor, regional vice president, executive vice president before being elected to the company’s top job. Cramer has been instrumental in the placement of new Fareway stores in the Midwest.
