Sonora, CA – The Diestel Family Turkey Ranch, one of the last small, family-owned turkey grower-processors in the United States, is proud to offer a line of premium, whole deli turkey breasts for foodservice customers nationwide. Made with 100% whole muscle meat (no fillers!), the lineup is free of added nitrates and nitrites and can be sliced to order in house.
Since 1949, customers have trusted Diestel to deliver consistently tender turkeys with real, old-fashioned flavor. Slow grown to their naturally intended weight and fed a 100% vegetarian diet of grains milled and mixed daily on the ranch, Diestel’s turkeys are also raised without antibiotics, growth stimulants, or hormones and are completely free of gluten, casein, carrageen, phosphates, MSG, artificial ingredients, and preservatives.
“Consumers are increasingly placing a high priority on understanding where their food comes from,” shared Heidi Diestel, turkey farmer. “Whether it’s shopping at the grocery store or going out to eat, they want to know that they’re making the best possible choices for their family. We’re excited to help deli and restaurant owners connect with their customers by offering a brand that they know and trust.”
Diestel’s whole deli turkey breasts are available in the following flavors: Organic Oven Roasted, Oven Roasted, Smoked, Honey Roasted, Herbed Roasted, Peppered Roasted, Pastrami Seasoned, Chipotle Peppered, Southwestern Cajun, Black Forest Seasoned, BBQ Smoked, and Fresh Roasted (no salt). Artisanal varieties are also available for the Organic Oven Roasted, Oven Roasted, Smoked, and Honey Roasted flavors. About Diestel Turkey Ranch
Diestel Turkey Ranch is one of the last small, family-owned, turkey grower-processors in the U.S. Run by husband and wife team Tim and Joan Diestel, the family’s high standards have remained unchanged since the ranch’s founding in 1949. Tim grew up in the turkey business working side-by-side with his father, Jack Diestel, and his Great-Uncle Ernest Bottini. The popularity of the Diestel holiday birds is a direct result of the careful farming practices that the family employs: Allowing the birds enhanced outdoor access, giving them plenty of time to grow, offering the highest-quality, all-natural food sources, and being meticulous about the finished product’s quality. With a strong focus on sustainability, the Diestel Turkey Ranch produces both holiday turkeys and year-round products.
