CORNWALL — DeCicco Family Markets is coming to Cornwall, and owner Frank DeCicco is promising it's not your typical chain supermarket.
"We do things a little differently," DeCicco said. "We don't have a set plan for every store. We customize every store to the neighborhood. We want to see what people are looking for."
The store won't open until sometime in early December, but DeCicco already is hearing from Cornwall residents about what they'd like to see done better or differently than the previous supermarket to anchor the Cornwall Plaza on Quaker Avenue.
DeCicco looked at the spot two years ago, after Key Foods closed, but things didn't work out at that time. He got another chance after Cornwall Farms closed Sept. 30.
