Dayton’s I Supply Co. Weighs Local Expansion Vs. Out-Of-State Move

One of the largest private businesses in the Dayton-area plans to invest millions of dollars in an expansion here or will move to another state.

Executives at Fairborn-based I Supply Co. on Wednesday told me the company has outgrown its 123,000-square-foot facility and is eyeing a $4 million to $5 million project that would add as much as 75,000 square feet. However, it also is working with a consultant to scout sites and government incentives in Indiana.

A decision — which will hinge on the assistance offered by local and state governments in each place — should be made by spring, said Jerry Parisi, chairman and CEO of the foodservice distributor.
