Another cold-storage warehouse business is expanding to the Charleston region.
Atlanta-based Agro Merchants said it is leasing an existing 121,000-square-foot space "to provide state-of-the-art storage, handling and other value-added services for its import and export customers."
It plans to open in August after making improvements.
The exact location was not immediately available. The 18-month-old company held a job fair last week at the former Piggly Wiggly warehouse off Interstate 26 near Jedburg.
