GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Daniel Gallery V will become the new president of Carts of Colorado, one of the nation's most successful innovators of kiosks for food and retail businesses. Gallery, 39, assumes the president role from his father, Daniel Gallery IV, who along with his sister built Carts of Colorado into a multimillion-dollar company that supplies thousands of mobile food carts, kiosks and portables for many of the country's top sports venues and household brands including Pepsico, YUM Brands, Starbucks and many more.
Gallery V plans to continue – and evolve – the industry-leading innovation and customer service that has made Carts of Colorado one of the most successful kiosk businesses in the nation.
"From its humble roots as a hot dog stand on the 16th Street Mall, to Red Rocks to AT&T Stadium in Dallas, to the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Carts of Colorado has successfully captured market share in almost every major U.S. city, and that is a credit to the hard work and dedication of my family who have selflessly built this business for more than 32 years," said Gallery V. "My goal is to evolve Carts of Colorado to meet the 21st century expectations of high-tech venues, changing food service, beverage and retail delivery models, and the discriminating consumer demands for fresh and local food. I am thrilled about the opportunity before us, and deeply grateful to the foundation my father and aunt have laid."
In 1984, Gallery IV and his sister Debbie Gallery began serving deli-style hot dogs on the 16th Street Mall from a modular cart they invented. The success of the stand itself drove the Gallery siblings to innovate new carts for large-scale food vendors in venues such as Pepsi Center and Mile High Stadium. 30 years later, Carts of Colorado designs and manufactures mobile and modular merchandising concepts into workable solutions, and has products in use across the world. Additionally, Carts of Colorado was one of the partners that enabled Foodesign Associates to become the recipient of the prestigious Foodservice Pioneering Concept award from the 2016 HX: The Hotel Experience Show.
Gallery IV, 62, will remain as CEO and founder, and will have a seat on the board of directors along with Debbie Gallery, 61.
"My father has unparalleled relationships across the U.S. and we intend to continue to deliver that same level of personal support, customer service and can-do attitude that our customers have come to expect from the Gallery family," continued Gallery V.
