As the possibility of a grocery strike looms, grocery workers plan to protest Wednesday at three store locations.
The Ralphs stores are at 14440 Burbank Blvd. in Van Nuys; 3410 W 3rd St.; and at 3670 Crenshaw. Delegations are expected to confront store managers and will have crowds of supporters.
The contract covering Southern California grocery workers expired six months ago.
While the union workers previously voted to authorize a strike, changes to offers now being negotiated require another vote, said Mike Shimpock, a spokesman for the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 770. That vote is scheduled for next week.
