TORONTO – Chair of the Board Paul Methot is pleased to announce that Donna Dooher has been appointed President & CEO of Restaurants Canada effective June 1. Ms. Dooher has been in the role on an interim basis since November, 2014.
“The Board of Directors is very pleased to have Donna at the helm of Restaurants Canada as we continue the search for a permanent CEO,” says Methot. “In just a few short months Donna has proven to be a strong, committed and effective leader. Her deep understanding of, and passion for, the hospitality industry is putting a sharp focus on serving our members and building a vibrant restaurant community across Canada.”
With more than 30 years of professional experience in foodservice, Ms. Dooher has made her mark on Canada’s culinary landscape as a celebrated chef, caterer, TV personality, cookbook author and restaurateur.
