Phoenix, AZ. Vision Produce Company is happy to announce that our solar project has now been completed and operational.
We had a ceremonial ribbon cutting today which was attended by Vision Produce President Bill Vogel, Treasurer Marsela McGrane and VP's and building owners Robert Stauffer, John Caldwell and Dan Lawton. In addition Mark Hologan, Solar Division Manager from Wilson Electric and Max Burger from the Salt River Project.
Bill Vogel was quoted,"Our customers are demanding that we be sustainable in our business ventures and this renewable energy addition to our Phoenix facility is a giant step".
Per Mark Holohan from Wilson Electric, the system that Vision Produce installed over its 30 year lifetime would be the equivalent to eliminating 14.4 million pounds of CO2 emissions. In addition, this system could power 23 homes and be equal to taking 56 cars off the road.
