Mango volume shipped on week ending 3/31/18 was approximately 2,744,990 boxes.

·     During the same week last year, volume shipped was approximately 2,793,892 boxes. 

Mexico Crop Information

·     The Mexican season began in January and is expected to run until the first week of October . Projected volume through week 27 (7/7/18) is approximately 58.1 million boxes.

·     Mexico's main varieties are Tommy Atkins (29%), Ataulfo (27%), Kent (25%), Keitt (14%) and Haden (5%).

·     Volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 2,262,780 boxes for a total of12,663,974 boxes for the season.

·     During the same week last year, volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 2,064,014 boxes for a total of 11,372,247 boxes.

Nicaragua Crop Information

·     The Nicaraguan season began in February and will run until the end of April with a projection of approximately 816,000 thousand boxes.

·     Nicaragua's main varieties are Tommy Atkins (80%), Keitt (15%), and Ataulfo (5%).

·     Volume shipped from Nicaragua was approximately 21,058 boxes for a total of613,458 boxes for the season.

·     During the same week last year, volume shipped from Nicaragua was approximately 41,778 boxes for a total of 1,118,547 boxes.

Guatemala Crop Information

·     The Guatemalan season began in March and will run until the first week of June with a projection of approximately 4.3 million boxes.

·     Guatemala's main varieties are Tommy Atkins (95%), Kent (3%), Keitt (1%), and Ataulfo (1%).

·     Volume shipped from Guatemala was approximately 426,040 boxes for a total of957,576 boxes for the season.

·     During the same week last year, volume shipped from Guatemala was approximately 653,780 boxes for a total of 1,960,484 boxes.

Costa Rica Crop Information

·     The Costa Rican season began in February and will run until mid – April with a projection of approximately 406,000 thousand boxes.

·     Costa Rica's main varieties are Tommy Atkins (70%), Irwin (15%), Ataulfo (10%), and Keitt (5%).

·     Volume shipped from Costa Rica was approximately 15,048 boxes for a total of245,784 boxes for the season.

·     During the same week last year, volume shipped from Costa Rica was approximately 34,320 boxes for a total of 223,872 boxes.
