ZILLAH, Wash. — Stadelman Fruit plans to add a large cherry packing facility to its operation in this Lower Valley city.
Zillah officials recently received an administrative site plan from the company that proposes to construct a 123,000-square-foot building on Northstone Parkway, just north of its current operation at the corner of First Avenue and Cheyne Road. Stadelman has another warehouse at the opposite end of the city.
The proposal is in the preliminary phase, and the city has yet to see a building plan or building permit application, said planning director Ardele Steele.
