Sinclair Systems Opens Production Facility In Georgia

Fresno, CA, December 2, 2009 – Sinclair continues to grow to meet North Americas demand for top quality food-safe produce labels as it opened its eleventh label production facility just outside of Atlanta in Peachtree City, Georgia on December 1, 2009.

Bill Hallier, President and CEO, explains, Sinclair is very fortunate to have built a team of experienced, highly talented press operators, supervisors and other production personnel at this new plant. Its important that we can continue to meet —and exceed— our customers expectations for providing the highest quality food-safe produce labels available. Mr. Hallier was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony along with local officials including Peachtree City Mayor Harold Logsdon, Fayette County Chamber of Commerce President Virginia Gibbs and many other personnel.

This new 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to meeting packer/shippers needs along the eastern seaboard— from northeast Canada to Florida. Equipped with the latest 6-color press technology, on-line verification (for barcodes) and Sinclair proprietary equipment (e.g that which produces the unique Tab-Lift label), Sinclair again boosts capacity to meet rising demand. In December 2008, Sinclair added a new press to its Fresno facility as well as a press in the Wenatchee plant, primarily to meet the needs of customers transitioning to DataBar.
