As of August 17, Sheldon Borodkin joined S. Strock & Co., Inc., a wholesale produce distributor in Chelsea, MA, as a produce buyer/salesperson. The company’s buying and sales team has grown to seven with the addition of Mr. Borodkin. He will handle new commodities for the company, and pursue many opportunities to grow the company’s sales, particularly in the vegetable category. Mr. Borodkin has worked in the produce industry for 26 years, most recently as director of purchasing for a large foodservice distributor.
