Mt. Laurel, NJ – Sbrocco International, Inc. is pleased to announce its participation in the United States Department of Agriculture’s Quality Monitoring Program (QMP), effective immediately.
The QMP was developed to help buyers monitor the quality of the fruit and vegetable products they receive, handle, and/or produce. The program will provide Sbrocco with objective, third-party assessments of product quality based on official U.S. grade standards.
Known for more than 25 years for providing the highest quality imported fresh fruits to the U.S. and Canadian markets, Sbrocco is the first participant in USDA’s new QMP program for fresh fruit. Beginning with fresh table grapes for the 2013-2014 season, Sbrocco’s Good 4 U Fresh Fruit® brand products will have the official QMP seal on the product packaging to indicate program participation.
Sbrocco recognizes the importance consumers place on providing high-quality food to their families, and the efforts that retailers make to deliver food products that meet these demands. Driven by our commitment to exceeding customer expectations, Sbrocco is participating in the QMP to augment our existing quality assurance program and our effective, systematic approach to ensuring the quality and condition of our products.
