Salinas, CA – Rocket Farms Herbs, Inc., a subsidiary of Monterey Peninsula Horticulture, Inc., announced today that it has successfully completed the initial and critical phases of the HerbThyme Farms integration. These include the integration of sales and marketing functions which are led by Company president, Justin Dautoff, and the consolidation of critical administrative functions, all of which will benefit customers and improve employee productivity. As part of the integration and Company’s growth strategy it will be naming a chief operating officer to oversee operations, farming and supply chain shortly.
A nationally known industry leader, Rocket Farms Herbs’ acquisition of HerbThyme Farms combined the largest U.S. grown fresh cut herb producer with the leading potted herbs producer. Unique to the industry, the Company has customers in both the retail and food service spaces and this merger offers them one-stop shopping through the increase of an already vast product line.

The Company also announced today that with the essential pieces of the integration complete, Howard Roeder, HerbThyme president, has made the personal decision to leave in pursuit of other interests.
“Howard has been a key member of the HerbThyme management and integration team and we are appreciative of his leadership,” said Kosmont. “He made substantial contributions to the HerbThyme integration and business. We wish him the best in his next venture.”
Rocket Farms Herbs acquired the assets of HerbThyme Farms in December of 2012.
HerbThyme now operates under the Rocket Farms Herbs name.
