Port Washington, NY – In October, 2014 RBest Produce Inc. and sister company El Sol Brands Inc. celebrated their first year anniversary operating from the newly built warehouse in Port Washington, NY. Along with this first year milestone, last month the company’s 70,000 sq. ft. facility accomplished the distinction of Primus Global Food Safety Certification (GFS).

Preparing for certification as early as construction, RBest maintains strict safety standards and has spent the last year perfecting company procedures. The facility passed the thorough audit on its first attempt, scoring 100% in HACCP System Requirements and a total Primus GFS score of 97%.
RBest Produce is a full service distributor with a full line of conventional and organic produce servicing supermarkets and food service customers throughout the tri-state area, as well as Boston to Philadelphia. ELSol Brands Inc, with facilities in NY and Miami is one of the largest importers of tropical roots, Latin and Asian vegetables, serving large chain stores, wholesalers and terminal markets from Miami to Boston and Chicago as well as all points in between. By early 2015 RBest Produce plans to complete an expansion of the facility, adding 20,000 sq. ft. of refrigerated space to insure its ability to grow and continue to provide top level service and quality.
