SEDRO-WOOLLEY, WA – Organic Italian kiwi are now available to US consumers, thanks to Viva Tierra Organic, Inc. Trial shipments of organic Italian kiwi last season were well received, and anticipation for this season's fruit is high.
Viva Tierra's first shipments of organically grown green Hayward kiwi from Italy arrived on the east coast in late September, and availability is expected to continue into February. Organic Golden kiwi with delicious, bright yellow flesh will arrive in late October, and are expected to be available until the end of the year.
