Polymer Logistics, a leading provider of retail ready packaging solutions, has announced the premiere of new series of containers designed to look like boxes made from rattan or cane and enhance shopper marketing in the aisles. The Rattan Market-place RPC, with its attractive wicker look, follows last year’s launch of the Crystal Clear RPC series, which started the trend of non-standard containers.
“The Rattan Market-place RPC is an innovative solution that we expect to be a major contributor to an improved shopper experience, which in turn will result in sales increases at our retail users. The new merchandising opportunities are limited only by the marketer’s and store manager’s imagination,” said Jim Vangelos, President – US, Polymer Logistics.
Rattan Market-place RPC’s, which are currently offered in dark brown and beige, can be used in-store for a wide variety of categories, including produce and bakery. They have an ‘Active Lock’ system that secures the containers when erected but allows panels to fold easily and quietly when lock is released. It is foldable and stackable to maximize truck and store space, and is lightweight for easy handling.
The Rattan Market-place RPC is more environmentally sustainable than traditional packaging and offer significant cost savings when compared to disposable material. They are compatible with the Polymer Logistics pallet and dolly line for easy maneuverability and placement on retail floor, and are made of an easy-to-clean polymer that resists moisture, acids, fats, solvents, insects and fungi.
