National Mango Board’s Cece Krumrine Is Honored As The New England Produce Person Of The Year

Orlando, Fla – National Mango Board’s Retail Account Manager in the northeast, Cece Krumrine, was honored as the New England Produce Person of the Year. She is the tenth recipient of this honor and the first woman. The award was presented by Ken Whitacre of Produce Business magazine on September 11, 2014 at the New England Produce Council Expo Breakfast Event.

The selection process was based on nominations from the produce industry, primarily retailers in New England. Krumrine has represented the NMB in the northeast since 2007 and is a 25-year veteran of the produce industry. Known as a go-getter with impeccable follow-through, retailers have come to rely on Krumrine for the tools they need to move more mangos. Krumrine represents several highly regarded commodity boards, including the National Mango Board, California Avocado Commission and National Watermelon Promotion Board.

The NMB is proud to have Cece Krumrine as an integral part of our retail marketing team and a representative of the mango industry. We congratulate her for this outstanding honor and look forward to many more years working together.
