Nash Produce, one of the United States largest sweet potato processing facilities, has obtained their GlobalGAP certification and added to their sales team.
The certification, received in early December ,was GlobalGAP version 4.0 which is the most recent standard. Nash Produce is one of the first sweet potato packers to complete this new version.
Don Sparks has joined the Nash Produce sales team bringing an in depth knowledge of sweet potatoes. He has 30 years of experience in agriculture, 20 of which were spent growing sweet potatoes and 16 years in selling, packing and shipping sweet potatoes. Don has extensive knowledge in exporting sweet potatoes to the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
