Orange, CA – Interfresh, Inc., a national marketer of fruits and vegetables, announced today that industry veteran Michael “Jake” Jacobs has joined the company in the position of Director of Business Development.
Jacobs brings over 3 decades of industry experience to the role, including positions in the grower/shipper, marketer and distributor communities. In the new position of Director of Business Development, Jacobs will be tasked with expanding both the grower and customer base for the Interfresh commodity line.
“Jake brings a skillset to Interfresh that we are eager to capitalize on”, said Chris Puentes, Interfresh president. “He will be keenly focused on identifying and cultivating new relationships and opportunities, and we look forward to Jake helping us to open new doors on both the grower and the customer side, and also to expand our business with our current grower and customer base”, he concluded.

Jacobs will be based in a new sales office in Scottsdale, AZ, but work closely with all divisions of the company.
