Max Yeater Named CEO Of PRO*ACT, Adds New Responsibilities To His Role As President

MONTEREY, CA – PRO*ACT, the produce supply-chain management company, has added the title of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to Max Yeater’s position as President. In addition to guiding the day-to-day activity of the company, Yeater has been responsible for the strategic planning necessary to set the direction for PRO*ACT’s continued growth and sustainable success into the future. He has been with the organization for 22 of its 25 years.

Yeater joined PRO*ACT in 1994 as a field inspector. He soon was promoted to Director and then Vice President of Procurement. Eventually being named Chief Operating Officer. In 2011, he was made President.

Yeater says of his career: “I am grateful to have joined such a forward-thinking organization, willing to take on a young person starting out and supporting his career path.” In his five years as President, he has been a critical part of PRO*ACT’s significant growth as a national distributor of fresh food.
