FRESNO, CA – Marketing Plus of Fresno has recently received recognition for their work in advertising and package design. The 2011 Davey Awards competition, which recognizes achievement by smaller creative firms and is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, has given two Silver Awards to Marketing Plus' work. They were selected out of nearly 4000 entries from around the world, with other winners in such diverse locations as Finland, Australia, Kuwait, and South Africa.
The award winning work is for two Marketing Plus clients, Cecelia Packing Corp., a citrus grower/shipper based in Orange Cove, CA, and Well Pict Berries, a grower/shipper of strawberries and raspberries based in Watsonville, CA. For Cecelia, Marketing Plus produced bag and box package designs for their kid-friendly "Dimples" mandarin orange line, which won a Silver Award in the category of Promotional Packaging. For Well Pict, the company's 2011 trade ad campaign won a Silver Award in the category of Business to Business/Trade Magazine Ads. The Dimples packaging is used throughout the U.S. and as far away as Malaysia, while the Well Pict ads have been featured in both U.S. and international magazines.

Marketing Plus produced the award winning work in partnership with Fresno-based design firm, Zylka Design.
