MARKET FRESH WELCOMES DAN THOMSON AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Nixa, MO – Market Fresh Produce is pleased to announce the addition of Dan Thompson to the Market Fresh team. Dan will be based at the Florida campus, where he will take on his new role as Senior Director of Operations. His responsibilities will include managing all aspects of building operations including production, shipping, receiving, delivery, sanitation, inventory control standards, and compliance for safe work practice. He will do this while ensuring a safe work environment for all team members and the highest degree of accuracy and quality as it relates to our products and customer service.
Thompson comes to Market Fresh with nearly 20 years of professional experience and a strong background in Warehouse Operations and Logistics. His previous experience includes Distribution Supervisor at Nestle Waters, Regional Distribution Manager at Andersen Windows, Senior Operations Logistics Manager at Heinz Manufacturing, and Vice President of Operations at Tintometer Inc. Thompson brings with him a documented track record of developing and executing strategic cost containment, process improvement, inventory management, supplier certifications and logistical programs that significantly improve performance matrices.
MARKET FRESH WELCOMES MIKE COMBS TO THE MARKET FRESH TEAM
Market Fresh would like to announce the addition of Mike Combs as the new National Director of Packaging Supply. Combs will be working out of Nixa, MO and will report to the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, Chris DeNovi. He will be responsible for Packaging development, order replenishment, and facilitating efficient, cost-saving operations by managing packaging liability and inventory levels across the Market Fresh Produce network, while working with the Marketing department to develop innovative packaging ideas for our customers.

Combs is an experienced and proven manager with over 25 years in successful sales performance, business development, team building, logistics, and warehouse operations. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Management from Oklahoma Christian College. Combs began his career out of college in the Claims/Logistics Department at NTC of America before accepting a position at Hyman Freightways as an Account Manager. He then went on to work as a Sales Manager at Brandt Truck Lines and later Tayloe Paper and Packaging, and his most recent position was with Veritiv Corporation as a Sales Manager.
