LoBue Citrus Celebrates Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges With Consumer Video

LINDSAY, CALIF. – LoBue Citrus celebrates the return of Heritage Reserve™ Navel Oranges with a video focused on their exceptional flavor. The video was created to educate consumers about the history behind the navel’s outstanding flavor.

“The consistently great flavor of Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges is a result of the age of the trees, ideal climate and the grower’s time-honored growing practices and the video does a great job explaining this to consumers,” says Norm Gatineau, vice president of sales and marketing at LoBue Citrus.

The Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges groves are located in a distinctive sub-section of California’s renowned Central Valley citrus growing region – a narrow, 20-mile long area adjacent to the western foothills of Sequoia National Park. These groves date back to 1898 to the original Washington-variety bud wood and have never been replanted.

Two critical factors account for the sustained productivity of the groves: a micro-climate and sandy soils unique to the growing region and decades of consistent farming practices by LoBue Citrus aimed at nurturing optimal flavor.

The Heritage Reserve Navel Oranges program is fully supported at retail with high graphic packaging, point-of-sale materials, merchandise bins, blogger partnerships, social media and a free downloadable e-cookbook available on the Heritage Reserve Facebook page. In addition, Heritage Reserve brand ambassadors will be executing robust sampling events at select retailers across the U.S.
