Mission, Texas – Limex Sicar & Ltd Co., a grower, packer, and shipper of the freshest fruit and greenhouse commodities headquartered in Colima, Mexico, announced that Dan Edmeier and Eduardo Herbst have joined the Limex team on August 24th. Edmeier, now Vice President of Sales at Limex will manage Limex’s tomato program and sales operations based in Mission, Texas.
Edmeier brings over 32 years of leadership experience to his new position at Limex. He has served in previous strategic sales and marketing roles that have generated over $40M in annual sales.
Luis Gudino, Chief Executive Officer of Limex Sicar states, “We are pleased to welcome Dan to the Limex team, his expertise and network will complement our existing group and expand our sales within the U.S. market.”
Eduardo Herbst also joins the Limex sales team bringing close to 10 years of sales experience within the greenhouse tomato category. Herbst will be Limex’s key sales account manager and responsible for all of Limex’s categories consisting of tomato’s, pineapples, limes and avocados.
Both Edmeier and Herbst attended the AMHPAC Conference in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico August 26-28 to network with the world’s top growers of protected agriculture, exporters and packers within the greenhouse industry.
