Issaquah, WA – The Vanguard International Group (Vanguard) announced today that Kevin Andrew has joined its team as their Chief Farming Officer.
Kevin will be responsible for working closely with Vanguard’s senior leadership on acquisitions, mergers, integration, and will oversee all farming operations.
“Having been involved in the global produce industry for over 35 years, I have seen the successes and breadth of Vanguard’s global reach over the last two decades. I am very excited to be a part of Vanguard’s team and having the opportunity to work closely with Craig, Guy, and their entire team, as well as the opportunity to work closely again with Dirk Winkelmann,” stated Kevin Andrew, Vanguard’s Chief Farming Officer.
“With over 35 years of farming and wide-ranging industry experience, Kevin is unbelievably qualified to lead and oversee all of our farming activities globally,” stated Craig Stauffer, Vanguard’s CEO. Andrew comes to Vanguard having held senior management positions at Superior Farming, Sun World International, Columbine Vineyards, and JP Dulcich and Sons. Andrew’s affiliation with International Grape Management (IGM) is also positive because it will enable immediate positive traction with proprietary grape varieties from a very well managed operation, creating significant synergy for both IGM and Vanguard. Additionally, he currently sits on the board of the Western Growers Association, serves as Chairman of the Mercy Hospital board of directors, and is the President of the board of the North Kern Water Storage District in California.
