WENATCHEE, Wash. – Stemilt Growers has added Katie Harmon to its marketing team as Marketing Communications Coordinator. She will be working at Stemilt’s headquarters in Wenatchee, WA.
Raised in Wenatchee, Harmon has always had a passion for writing and public outreach. She is a 2015 graduate of Washington State University, where she earned a BA in English with an emphasis on business writing. After graduation, Harmon gained experience in copy writing, social media marketing, public outreach, and website and project management while interning for the Wenatchee World, and most recently working for SCJ Alliance, an engineering consulting firm.
In her new role, Harmon will contribute content to Stemilt’s various communication channels, including The Stem blog, and will manage social media channels and tradeshows.

Her passion for food and health and strong communication skills really stand out and will be key as we continue to market our world famous fruits, which includes a growing number of proprietary varieties and branded products.”
